Membership is open to Pharmacists, Technicians, Associates, and Students. With flexible options, including an Annual Automatic Renewal, staying involved is easy. Note: Because of our lobbying activities, dues are not tax-deductible.
Membership Update!
We’ve recently updated our membership structure to better meet your needs. The separate Health Systems Academy membership fee has been removed. Upon renewal or joining as a new member, you will select the academy you would like to primarily participate in: the Health Systems Academy or the Community Academy. This streamlined structure ensures every member can fully engage with their area of interest without additional costs.

Membership Categories & Dues
We offer a variety of membership options to fit your role in pharmacy:
- Active Pharmacist: Pharmacists actively practicing in the field.
Annual Dues: $275 - New Pharmacist Practitioner: Pharmacists in their first year of practice after graduation.
Annual Dues: $125 - Pharmacy Resident: Pharmacists enrolled in PGY1 or PGY2 residencies, executive fellowships, or research fellowships.
Annual Dues: $125 - Retired Pharmacist: Pharmacists who have retired and no longer practice.
Annual Dues: $125 - Pharmacy Technician: Pharmacy technicians, with or without certification.
Annual Dues: $50 - Pharmacy Student: Students pursuing a pharmacy degree (valid for four years through completion of pharmacy school).
Dues: $100 for 4 years - Pharmacy Business: Includes membership for one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician.
Annual Dues: $550 - Pharmacy Associate: Non-pharmacists who wish to support AKPhA, including other healthcare professionals, out-of-state pharmacists, and pharmaceutical representatives.
Annual Dues: $150
